English 4

Hi bloggers, today I am going to talk about my experience in English IV.

English for me ever has been terrible >.< I hate English, but I know to need English for the investigation, write and search papers and also for the presentation in congress. Now that I am prepared the memory, have to read very much text in English.
I like to learn English in the University, especially because I can learn of the other students, my problem is that I feel anxiety when I have to talk in front of everyone, I forget all and  I blush, then the final test is the worst of life. The teacher looks me and wait that I answer and ¡I don’t know what to answer! And in this moment I think “why? How have you forget all? Why now?”

However I’m good writing and reading in English, but I’m bad listening. When I listen to the people speak in the video and the voice recordings I can’t understand nothing and the others students can do it, I think “Why they understand and I not?” My plan has been listen to music in English and watch the series and movies spoken and subtitled in English, I hope that result that result and I can have best level of English.
In my opinion, the blogs is the entertaining form for improve the level of English in the grammatical use and we can learn new words.

In this moment I used the English very much, I need search text about engagement and performance, this topic in Chile has been little researched. In my house I tried practice the contents but I finished in the facebook or you tube, in videos of pop music. The procrastination consumes me.

Changes in my career

Hello Bloggers, today I am going to talk about some changes that I could made in my career and in my Faculty.

I think that in my Faculty there are various things that could be better, for example the infrastructure. The new classroom (“Aulario A” and “Aulario B”) were not designed for a lot of student, I mean all fit in the classroom, but the last student can't hear what the teacher says. The microphones are bad and they are not repaired, we can't use the air conditioner, because it makes too much noise. Besides the classroom not have windows, in the others word they have windows, ¡but they do not open!

I like to change the curriculum, because I think that the fifth year in the Psychology is the heaviest of the career, because you have to make the memory, the practice and the diploma course. Maybe could be good that the university low the academic load in the fifth year of the career.

The optative courses in my opinion are more relax than the obligatory courses, in the first and second year you have so much that read and study that the fourth year the academic load is nothing. I considered that first and second years are for we can adapt to the university life.

Ultimately, I think that the methodologies that the teachers use is not always good because they do not considered that we have different learning styles and only some teachers use active methodologies of teaching-learning.

Favorite Books

Hi bloggers, today I am going to talk about my favorite book.

My favorite book is “The fault in ours stars”, this book was written for John Michael Green and published in January 2012. This story is narrated for Hazel Grace Lancaster, a girl with cancer of sixteen years old. She is forced for her parents to attend a support group in the “Literal hearth of Jesus”, where she meets to Augustus Waters, a youngster of seventeen years old, ex-basketball, he have apathetic a leg due to the osteosarcoma, they fall in love <3

This is the best book that I have read it is 100% recommended because is a beautiful story; you can fun, laugh and cry. It is a fiction story, but you can feel as if it was real.

My favorite author is Stephanie Meyer, is an American fiction writer and film producer, among his book there can be mentioned “Twilight” “The Host” “New Moon”, among others. She became famous with the published of the Best Seller “Twilight” (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn).

The last book I read was “Looking for Alaska” this book also was written for John Green, is one of the few original books that I have, is very good book.

The kinds of book that I like is a clear jajaja, I’m not think that need to write it.

“The people were created for beloved, the things were created for be used. The reason by which the world is in chaos because the things are being beloved and the people are being used” (Looking for Alaska)

 

The course of postgraduate

Hi, today I’m going to talk about the course of postgraduate that I think to do the next year.

When I think in my future ever I see myself working in the investigation area, I like the statistic and data analysis, I think that the investigation with quantitative standpoint is a form of change of world, because it allows collecting data and get information about the state of any phenomenon. However the qualitative investigation is the very good tool, because it allow to see further of the numbers.

For this reason the next year I want to do the course of “Quantitative Methods of Investigation”. This course is imparted in the Universidad de Chile for the psychometrist and psychologist Andres Antivilo and Claudia Zuñiga. In this course you learn to make linear regression and data analysis more complex that in undergraduate (statistic 1 and 2). This course is part- time, because I must make the practice in the mornings

In some years more I would like to study outside of Chile, but first I want to save money for to be able to pay the expenses. However I don’t know if this plan will run, maybe this course I could do as distance learning, I’m not clear. What I am sure about is that I will dedicate myself the investigation in the organizational area. 

This Summer

Hi, today I am going to talk about my summer plans.

This summer I died jajaja but not literally, in the summer I musk work and I am very happy and very sad, because in this summer, I must do the practice but the best of the practice is I can work in the area that I like. 

Equally, I have some plans for this summer: First, I like to go to Los Lagos because on January the University of Los Lagos will make a Congress; I think that this experience is very interesting, and help me to development in the investigation area. Also I could visit my cousins, they live for all south of Chile, from Rengo to Puerto Montt, and the family of my fathers is big and variable.

 However I think to do the degree memory. The degree memory I am make with my friends, is the investigation about occupational psychology, specifically of the health in the work, in a business of the Region Metropolitana with the psychologist Marcela Quiñones.

Additionally I want to make sport and climb the hill with one of my friends. He is rider; he loves the bikes and extreme sport, is my unique friend that practice sport. He has win very races, is very good.

In conclusion this summer will be very busy.

My dream job

Hi, today I am going to talk about the kind of job I would like to have.  

The kind of job I would like to have is some related with investigation of occupational psychology or mathematics education.

I think the investigation is very important, because you can see what happens in different areas, obtain data and intervene, from the qualitative or quantitative approach. I know more about the quantitative approach, because I am assistant of Andrés Antivilo, psychologist and psychometer, manager t the statistics area of the Department of Psychology.  Thanks to him I have learned a lot about data analysis.

I imagine this job could be similar to the work I do in the team of assistant, we are an investigation group, we have learned about mathematics education and, teaching and learning techniques with the final purpose of improve the teaching of statistics in the classroom. The best of this job is you can field work and analyze data.

Some psychologist think the investigation is for normalize society, but I believe the investigation, qualitative or quantitative, is a form of change the world. Just having data state of things, these can be transformed. For me the salary is not a problem, I know that as a psychologist will not get a great salary, but I work on what I want and love. 

My favorite movie :O

Hi, the topic of today is my favorite movie. 

For me is very difficult to choose something, because… I don´t know, I hate write about a specific topic, because I complicated, but I will choose one movie.

I believe that my favorite movie is “50 first dates”, because this movie is a mixture of romantic and comedy is very funny, also Adam Sandler is a great actor. You can see this movie while you eat a cassata ice cream of chocolate, is an ideal moment.

The first time that I see the movie was with my boyfriend, in the monthly anniversary. This moment was wonderful, because he don´t like romantic movies. This movie is the one and only of romantic genre that we have seen together.

I don´t know what kind of movie I like, other of my favorites movies is “Now you see me”, is the best movie that I´ve seen this year. I love the magic, the special effect and the actors, I think the kind of movie that I like is of mystery, but I haven´t a favorite genre.

The most recent movie that I saw is “me before you” a romantic movie, I love it is a very good movie and very sad. The movie is about the love between one paraplegic man and woman. Not tell them whether or not die.
